POSITION SUMMARY
Individual will be responsible for assisting in the management of consumer and practitioner education as well as coordinating Marketing projects and activities aimed toward the natural medicine industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate new product development, design, concepts, and work with PSO to ensure FDA compliance standards.
Provide reports and information, including monthly sales analysis (SPINS, Whole Foods portal information). Provide various marketing reports as required.
Explore new market segments in the health and wellness markets, report updated competitors' marketing activities and trends in consumer market.
Assist in execution of marketing plans and campaigns: joint promotional programs with other companies; participate in sponsorship of community events which can enhance Company's image and its relationship with consumers. Assist in execution of public relation programs, media placements, food shows, host events, product demonstration, and trade shows.
Manage, and develop as needed, practitioner support programs; update and send out education materials
Liaise with UK education team for support
Deal with day-to-day questions/concerns from practitioners and potential students about the education and courses
Travel as necessary to participate in food shows exhibitions.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience in Consumer Goods related industry. MBA preferred. Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop. Candidate should have working knowledge in brand concepts and brand education as well as some exposure to sales. Prior natural food or personal beauty care industry experience is a plus

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Ability to demonstrate a basic level of proficiency in brand marketing skills (development and execution of new products, product design, package design, advertising, market research, and product promotion)
Work fairly autonomously with support from the Brand Manager.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to synthesize data and provide solutions across all aspects of marketing, from design to go-to market strategies.
Candidate must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, formal & informal, written and verbal.
Must be a self-starter, curious, and consumer-centric in thinking style
